He is the Creator of all things. He is referred to in the Bible as God, (YHWH-YAHWEH). He is the Creator of everything in Heaven and on Earth. He is Spirit. He is Eternal, without limit in Time or Space. He created all of this for the purpose of His Glory and His plan. The Genesis record reveals that God created everything in order and structure, to be fruitful and to multiply throughout the world. When God finished creating the environment in which we see all around us, He created Mankind, who were made in His image for His enjoyment and relationship. They were created with many attributes, reflecting God’s Mind, Heart and Character. They would be His Children, His People.

 Just as uniquely as He created the Heavens, the Earth, and all the creatures within for their purpose in His plan, even so He uniquely created Mankind, Male and Female for His good pleasure, and ours as we shared the beauty of all His creation together.

 Then, tragedy struck. Adam and Eve chose to disobey the structure of God’s plan and purpose for Creation. They did not come upon this by themselves. They were aided by Satan, the prominent Lead Angel who himself rebelled against God to circumvent God’s Leadership. Sadly, Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. From then on, they had the power to choose whatever they desired, no longer needing the God who made them.

 From that point forward all creation went from complete fruitfulness and beauty into a spiral of death. Now, the cycle of all Life is broken. Lifespans went from eternal to temporal. From the moment of birth, everything is dying until death. Conversely, all generations of Mankind once birthed for Life are born to die. God’s plan was life forever. But Sin, theirs and ours, today needs healing. Needs a change in direction. Needs a Savior.

Yes, That is correct, there are many choices, but only one will be the right choice back to God, our Creator. Satan loves to offer many different options to flood our hearts with different messages to confuse us. It’s like all the different viewpoints we are bombarded with daily at the speed of life. Just one Google search alone will in seconds have pages of options. Now with AI in the mix, it only gets more dizzying to consider.

Now, options for making choices are good. But only if you have a foundational understanding of what works; a worldview that supports you and your life goals. At Heartlife we believe the True North for our lives is only found in the pages of God’s Word the Bible. Again, He is the Eternal Living Creator that knows the Truth of how life is put together. The way to recognize an Original is to compare it with close comparisons that really do not match the quality or intensity of the original. Truth will always stand the test.

Many Religious systems have at their fundamental base a “works” based paradigm to bring about life success. At the end of the day, you must ask, “how many good works do I have to do to obtain the Prize?” Sadly, no one knows.  Yet our Faith in God is based on something we could never do for ourselves. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for the sin and rebellion we had sown in our lives. Christ’s death was the only way God the Father could forgive the sin and rebellion in Mankind for all generations since Adam and Eve in the Garden, up to today. The Father willfully out of His deep love, forgives us for our sin and living contrary to His plan, and welcomes us back into an eternal Relationship with Him that was severed at the Fall. We can never do enough things to deserve that position and relationship with God. Only God, being born of a virgin girl, into a holy human body form (God/Man) could ever bridge the gap between God and man. Christ lived as a Man on earth to show us the Mind and Heart of God sinlessly. Then became the Sacrificial Lamb to pay for our Sin. The story does not end here. Christ was resurrected defying Sin, Death, and Hell forever! There is Victory and Life in Jesus! This is the choice we all must make. Jesus declared, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6)

When we make the intentional choice to accept Christ’s substitutionary death that He, Jesus Christ, paid by dying on the Cross in our place for our sin debt to God, we are “saved” for the New Life that God has designed for us. The Old Testament Law taught that only a sinless, unblemished blood sacrifice could be used to bring forgiveness for sin and disobedience from the wrath of God. From the garden and throughout the Old Testament animal sacrifices were used to repeatedly seek God’s forgiveness.

Yet God had already put the plan into place for His once and for all Deliverer to come and provide that final sacrifice for all Mankind. (Gen 3:15) Christ’s Death was that ultimate sacrifice for all to receive forgiveness from God. Because Jesus Christ was God in a human body. The Holy Spirit of God impregnated the Virgin Mary to bring about the holy Son of God, Emmanuel; God with us! The Sacrificial bridge back to Relationship with God was complete. By the acceptance and surrender of our lives to God, we receive the gift of the Presence of God, the Holy Spirit, to indwell us and walk with us throughout our daily lives, reflecting Christ in and through us for His glory!

Because He is God, the Lord of Heaven and Earth.

He Created you within your mother’s womb. He loved you and planned for you before you were conceived. He knows you intimately, heart, soul, mind, and strength. He knows everything about you, what you’ve done and why. Yet His Love and Faithfulness have never wavered. He waits patiently for you to choose Him and return to the Life you were created for.

But you must intentionally desire to make the choice to repent and return to Him. To love, honor, and obey Him from this day forward. Not just for Heaven by and by, but right now, today! It is the most amazing adventure that you have ever dreamed of. Accept Him now.
